Employee Training
New hire training is the beginning of your development in HGS. Our goal is to create a robust workshop that will continually develop your skills throughout your induction training and beyond. All of our workshops are designed to address the areas of competence and confidence. Our programme is created keeping adult learning techniques, individual needs and our ultimate customer in mind. Our approach to training is to support our employees to be independent and unique individuals. We tailor make our programme structure to the need of the department and individual.

Employee & Organisational Development (ED / OD)
Our ED and OD team focus on behavioural change. Our philosophy is ‘Culture drives Performance’. So if we show the right behaviours (that make up Culture) people will be happy and motivated to perform better. Hence our focus is people. We not only train but we also counsel and coach. We are in sync with our business objectives all the time. Every workshop that we conduct is linked to our organisation Culture and values and adds meaning and value to people’s lives. We support people to bring about changes. We strictly follow the ADDIE (Analyze, Develop, Design, Implement and Evaluate) process.
We believe in creating opportunities for Leaders to develop their potential and enhance their effectiveness as managers and, more importantly, as leaders of people. We encourage our leaders to sharpen and hone not only their functional skills, but also their interpersonal competency on a continuous basis. We have a wide range of functional and skill based interventions that we offer our managers and leaders, under our Managerial Effectiveness Programme. But what’s even better, is that first, we work with them to help them draw up for themselves, what their personal development and learning plan should be. At HGS, attention is paid not only ‘What’ we achieve and deliver, but also ‘How’ we do it.
Most of our workshops are in-house because we have the talent and the capability to design and deliver modules ourselves. The workshops are not just stand alone units but are very experiential and practical. The entire ED/OD team has been certified to conduct Needs Analysis, design and conduct workshops and do an evaluation. This brings us closer to reality and helps raise the bar for the Organisation.
